TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The renter must be aged 18+.
All drivers must be in possession of a current valid international or local driver’s license.
The renter must check the vehicle on its functionality at time of renting and prior to use.
The renter will not lease the vehicle to third parties.
A refundable deposit amount of 5000 THB will be paid in advance during the vehicle pickup.
The deposit will be refunded when the rental is completed, provided the vehicle is returned in the same condition as when received.
All our vehicles and customers are covered by First Class Full Comprehensive Insurance.
The following insurance deductible fee will apply to all rentals as a result of accident, damage to third parties or theft:
– In the case of renter at fault accidents or when an involved third party cannot be identified, deductible fee to a maximum of 5000 THB.
– Deductible fee to a maximum of 5000 THB to cover tar damage, damage to the glass or flat tire.
– In the case of loss or theft of the vehicle. Fixed excess amount of 20000 THB.
BudgetCatcher’s insurance provides full medical coverage for all in hospital medical expenses for both driver, passengers and third parties, whether you are at fault or not.
Excluded are damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct (Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs – Losing rental car keys – Refueling with the wrong type of petrol – Driving rental car out of Thailand).
Loss or damage to personal items, money, monetary documents, important documents or like are not covered by the policy.
Should the renter be at fault in an accident and the vehicle requires immediate repair, a replacement vehicle will not be supplied for the period the damaged vehicle is out of service.
All BudgetCatcher vehicles are rented out with a full tank of petrol and must be returned with a full tank. Failure to do so will incur a refueling service charge added to the cost of the rental.
ONE WAY RENTAL
One way rental is available to BudgetCatcher drop off locations throughout Thailand. One way drop-off charges may apply.
UNLIMITED KILOMETERS / ACCESS TO ALL PROVINCES
At BudgetCatcher all our rates are based on unlimited mileage. Access is allowed to all provinces of Thailand.
RENTAL PERIOD / OUT-OF-OFFICE HOURS FEE
The minimum rental period is 24 hours.
BudgetCatcher will allow a grace period of 1 hour when returning your vehicle after which the following charges will apply:
1st hour – Free of charge.
2nd and 3rd hours – 200 THB per hour.
4th hour – Full day rate applicable to the class of vehicle rented.
Out-of-office hours delivery and collection services will be chargeable at 200-300 THB per trip.
Please take note our office hours are: 8.00 am – 6.00 pm / 7 days
BudgetCatcher will not refund the rental fee monies, excluding the deposit, for return of the vehicle before the return date stated in the signed agreement.
PET & NON-SMOKING POLICY
BudgetCatcher allows pets to ride in vehicles provided they are properly contained in a travel kennel, container or cage at all times.
For the health and comfort of subsequent renters of the vehicle who may be allergic to animal dander, the vehicle must be returned in its original condition with no animal hair or feathers anywhere in or on the vehicle.
All BudgetCatcher vehicles are non-smoking.
BudgetCatcher is committed to providing a safe, clean fleet for customers and employees. Renters whose vehicles require a detailed cleaning to remove animal hair or address sanitary issues will be charged a 2000 THB cleaning fee.
EXTENSION OF RENTAL
Should the renter wish to extend the rental beyond the agreed return date, the renter have to submit a change request 24 hours before contract ends. The rental fee must be paid in advance, so that the insurance coverage will be extended. Failure to notify will mean, that the renter is driving the vehicle without insurance coverage and responsible for full payment of any costs incurred due to using the vehicle without insurance coverage.
